bann3rth0mas what is it?
Essentially I was working at my job late one friday, got an alert to my from my former band’s email asking if i wanted to, if WE, wanted to help out some students learning the nitty gritty of recording.
Of course WE would, I figured.
Not the case really. As it turns out, its hard to just schedule time off from work without prior notice, people don’t really care if you recording music. Nonetheless me and Pat managed to be lucky enough to have the time, though, it just meant there was less for sleep. Without any preparation we recorded three songs and mixed them in five days, without previous understanding of which “songs” we were going to do.
My goal now with this songs, is to do another master/mix and get them on bandcamp and also remix them, I don’t have any expectations for interest or cooperation since no one knows me or the band. It’s interesting to have these tools and work things out online without or for no one except myself and the handful of friends who are kind/intelligent (hehehe) enough to care. To them I thank, though I’d do it obviously just for me. I’m going to use this as a chance to see what tumbling can really do.
